Bible Question:
Who did the devil murder? We are told by Jesus that the devil was a murderer from the beginning: John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. Praise the Lord! Norm |
Bible Answer: We are told that to transgress the Law in any way is to transgress the Law in all ways. James says "For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all." He illustrates with the following example: "For He who said, "DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY," also said, "DO NOT COMMIT MURDER." Now if you do not commit adultery, but do commit murder, you have become a transgressor of the law." I hope this helps answer your question. |
