Bible Question: can someone explain to me 2Peter:20,21 |
Bible Answer: It is better to not know The Lord Jesus Christ and him crucified than to know and be ordered to damanation by God and not man. When we know righteousness and turn we are condem already by our action unless we repent and confess our sins "unto God" not man. God will forgive and cleanse, but to fall back into sin is more damanging than the first time. think about an apple when it start to rot, if not attend to it will continue the rotten process, right? So it is with us if we know Christ Jesus and then turn our backs on Him, we will be as the apple continue to detoriate. There is a Scripture that states "it is better to not know than to know, because it is sin." Maybe somone out there can assit in locating the correctness of the Word of God. |
