Bible Question: Best study on this verse especially the last part for the purpose of pray? |
Bible Answer: John Bevere has some really good studies out. Drawing Near, Driven by Eternity, Under Cover, Bait of Satan.... as far as the best studies Drawing near. The scripture is stating that we should not make desicions based upon our, and the worlds point of virew. That we must seek God's answer (prayer is two way communication). The book of proverbs talks very much about those who are quick to decisions act in a worldly manner, and those who are act in a godly manner wait for God (gods timing is not our own) instructions to move. The world all around us quick. quick to make descions, quick technology, fast paste traffic, quick devlopment projects, stock market, contract. Pressure is all around us which. When we begin to feel the pressure it becomes uncomfortable so as part of society telling us we make the quick decsion. But by all this we are very fooled. The pressure of all this is used to pressure us to forget about going to our heavenly father for his precios guidance. What we are being told is "in all things come to me." |
