AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Peter 3:1 In the same way, you wives, be submissive to your own husbands [subordinate, not as inferior, but out of respect for the responsibilities entrusted to husbands and their accountability to God, and so partnering with them] so that even if some do not obey the word [of God], they may be won over [to Christ] without discussion by the godly lives of their wives, [Eph 5:22] |
Bible Question: What should a wife do or say when her husband thinks her sudden change of heart is so sudden it is unbelievable? |
Bible Answer: I would have to say that the best thing do is read through 1 Peter Chapter 3. The first few verses talk about the impact a woman of faith can have on an unbelieving husband. Remember, when you are subject to him though, God comes first for you. YOu don't have to submit to the point to where you give up your walk with God. People tend to think submit is such a bad word, its not. A good dictionary, such as Vine's will expose that word for you better. God Bless! Mitch |
