Bible Question: What did God tell Joshua to put up when he and the israelites cross the Jordan, and what does it signify? |
Bible Answer: lourdes, The twelve stones were to mark the miraculous stopping of the Jordan by GOD. There are two sets of stones, one in the river and the other on the west bank. In the riverbed speaks of Christ in death. On the west bank speak of Christ in resurrection. Also they speak of the inhertance of the Isrealites. I pray this will help. BB |
