Bible Question (short): Does God guarantee prosperity? |
Question (full): Does God guarantee prosperity to the righteous? Reading from James 5:4-6 it appears that the righteous man was a laborer working in the fields that had his wages witheld by the wealthy landowner. Since he was living hand to mouth, he eventually died. If God did guarantee prosperity to the righteous this could never have occured. Is this a reasonable interpretation to this verse, or am I way off? Thanks! Huron |
