Bible Note: Hi Hank - thanks for the response. Romans 8:26-27 is a great comfort as I consider how inadequate and selfish my prayers often are! Thanks for reminding me that Jesus gave us instruction in prayer as well as an example. "Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven." Does this require one to have absolute trust in the sovereignty of God? All too often I think that we just repeat these memorized words without understanding what we are really asking!
