Subject: Need Clarification on Asking/Receiving |
Bible Note: Greetings Val! The word for 'doubt' is a word that means 'to judge' or 'to discriminate'. In this passage, it seems to have the meaning of a 'divided judgment'. The person asking God is of a wavering opinion in his request. So, I would say that doubt here refers to doubt about the response to the prayer from God. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
