Subject: How will I hear God's answer? |
Bible Note: I came across this verse in devotion today I thought that I would share since I think it has to do with what we are talking about in this thread. Isaiah 45:18-19For thus says the Lord--Who created the heavens, God Himself, Who formed the earth and made it, Who established it and did not create it to be a worthless waste; He formed it to be inhabited--I am the Lord, and there is no one else. I have not spoken in secret, in a corner of the land of darkness; I did not call the descendants of Jacob [to a fruitless service], saying, Seek Me for nothing [but I promised them a just reward]. I, the Lord, speak righteousness (the truth--trustworthy, straightforward correspondence between deeds and words); I declare things that are right. I think that no matter how the LORD speaks to you that if you are seeking for his wisdom and righteousness you will know it is the LORD that is speaking to you. When I am seeking the LORD, I read His word and pray asking for understanding and guidence and I keep reading until I hear from Him. hope this helps Joanna :) |
