Subject: How will I hear God's answer? |
Bible Note: Proverb 1:20-21 is a great reference verse about wisdom. I was by no means saying that the LORD always or only speaks in a still, small voice as in 1 Kings 19:9-18. In Job 38 the LORD talking out of a storm. That would be very loud. I think He talks in both ways. I was emphasizing on the still, small voice so that the person seeking the LORD's answer would not over look that. I was only giving some examples and I know that I missed some. I didn't even touch on dreams (there are so many references the first is Genesis 20) and visions (my personal favourite is Acts 10). Azure, as a mom do you speak to your child with shouts or in a loving calm voice? I find myself (as a mom of 2) using both ways depending on the situation. for HIS glory, Joanna :) |
