Bible Note: Greetings TP! There are two other serious flaws with your position that I forgot to mention. Sorry! :-) Thirdly, even if James was not aware of Paul's teaching, the Holy Spirit was certainly aware of it. :-) Since, James and Paul were both inspired by the same Spirit, why would their teachings be different? Fourthly, while Paul was certainly called to minister to the Gentiles, he always began with the Jews first. He preached the same message to them that he preached to the gentiles. Not once in Scripture do we find him telling the Jews that there was one way of salvation for them and another for the gentiles.
