Subject: Questioning God. |
Bible Note: WOS-Isn't "questioning God's will" different from questioning why a bad thing has happened. We know that the Lord is just and pure and that there is no injustice in Him. To ask Him why a "bad thing" has happened isn't necessary "questioning His will" as you say. It is merely trying to make sense of the experiences of this world. When going through a bad experience who better to ask that the One who created us? Just trying to understand a crisis is not a bad thing. In fact, they draw us nearer to the Lord when we throw ourselves on Him and trust Him to be fair even when the world and the evil ones in it are not fair. James 1:16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. James 1:17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. |
