Subject: Questioning God. |
Bible Note: Val, Asking for wisdom to help you through your trials and questioning the Almighty are two very different things indeed. The first you are expected to do as pointed out by your post of James 1:5. The latter you are reproved for doing as Paul wrote to the Romans. Romans 9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? It is never wrong to ask for God’s wisdom but so very wrong to question His will. Isaiah 45:9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? Stand in His grace, WOS |
