Bible Question: what does the word Ark mean? |
Bible Answer: Word study ... tebah, arown, kibotos ... Biblescholar2b, greetings. In Hebrew there are two words: -tebah (Strong's 08392), which is a vessel, used by Noah and Moses as a baby. -arown (Strong's 0727), which includes the Ark of the Covenant and money chest, as well as coffin. The Greek has one word for both, kibotos (Strong's 2787) Hope this helps, Searcher |
