NASB | Hebrews 9:12 and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Hebrews 9:12 He went once for all into the Holy Place [the Holy of Holies of heaven, into the presence of God], and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, having obtained and secured eternal redemption [that is, the salvation of all who personally believe in Him as Savior]. |
Subject: Christ entered the Holy or most Holy?... |
Bible Note: Thank you, that is exactly what i thought, the reason why i asked is because I had bible lesson from some poeple who believe that it was not instantanous, but that it took 1810 years after Christ's ressurection before the temple in heaven was cleansed by the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus in the Holy of holies. This absurd assumption is the basis of their faith and i am curious if their were any grounds in the bible to believe this doctrine. |
