Subject: Why did God give ten commandments? |
Bible Note: Reighnskye: You ask: "And if we strive to keep the Ten Commandments today, then shouldn't we also strive to enforce the penalties for breaking them on others?" My question for you is: Where does New Testament Scripture give the church the authority to enforce the penalties for breaking the Ten Commandments? Surely you are not suggesting that the local church should stone offenders or put them to death in other ways, are you? Grace to you, Kalos |
