Bible Question (short): holy spirit? Are we heirs of promise? |
Question (full): Hebrews 6:4-8 is being discussed in another thread. I would like to shift some of the discussion to here. It has been pointed out that blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is not an issue in this passage. The issue here is being partakers and being filled with, tasting, and soaking up the Holy Spirit or as I would say, holy spirit. Can I get a discussion away from thinking of "man" and whether he has faith or works or repentance or backslidden? What can we learn about God here? I hate to tell you, but we will not have any say about whether a person will be allowed into heaven or not. That is up to God and His grace and mercy, and His knowledge and will. So my question is: Does anyone agree with me for the lower case 'holy spirit'? From the heart, Ray |
