Bible Question: IN LUKE 2:52 IT SAYS THAT JESUS GREW IN IN WISDOM AND STATURE AND IN FAVOR WITH GOD AND MEN. HOW COULD JESUS GROW IN WISDOM IF HE WAS OMNISCIENT AND ALL WISE. FOR HE WAS BOTH GOD AND MAN. |
Bible Answer: I think that basically means he grew up in the human sense...yes he was God incarnate...he had to grow because he was in the flesh...I don't think he became to know who he was until he asked Mary why she was looking for him...He said don't you know I'm doing my Father's work?...something to that effect...anyway, I think, as a child and up till then he was just a child in His own mind...remember He is our example...we are all Sons of God...and are to grow in wisdom and stature, right?! |
