AMPLIFIED 2015 | Hebrews 13:7 ¶ Remember your leaders [for it was they] who brought you the word of God; and consider the result of their conduct [the outcome of their godly lives], and imitate their faith [their conviction that God exists and is the Creator and Ruler of all things, the Provider of eternal salvation through Christ, and imitate their reliance on God with absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness]. |
Bible Question:
How do you remember your leaders? Does your walk match your talk? Is your faith noteworthy? -What do others say about it? Steve |
Bible Answer: Sounds like you've got a built in answer to this question, but I would say that in light of the whole chapter on faith, and the great examples already given, the Christian should follow the faith-walk example. Like you infer, one's faith should be one of integrity (walk is talk) and both public and popular. |
