Bible Question:
WHY COULDN'T THE RIGHTEOUS RECALL DOING KIND DEEDS FOR THE LORD MATTHEW 25:34-40 |
Bible Answer: Greetings dltlshines, When Jesus says that we have fed him, gave him drink or welcomed Him He is referring to the acts of kindness that we do to others in whom he resides. As Hebrews says "by showing hospitality to strangers, we have entertained angels without knowing it" so also, do we entertain Jesus without knowing it because we never know whose heart he is living in. We do many acts of kindness that we do not remember doing or that we do unconsiously because we have the nature of Christ living in us. So it is with the righteous in this parable. |
