Subject: His reproach - our reproach? |
Bible Note: Greetings, Doc: I believe we miss much when we don't consider how God's Word applies to us today. Therefore, when I come across a verse like this I ask, does this have any significance to us as believers; what does this mean for me? Sorry to press the issue with you. FWIW, imo, since we are to also go outside the camp to where Jesus is, might this suggest that we must leave our temorary "comfort zones" or self-made things that we have relied upon in the past? Apart from the priests carrying the blood, the Israelites could never enter the Tabernacle, they could not enter into a relationship with God . . . neither can we unless we go through the blood of Christ. But to get the blood of Christ, we must also leave the camp, that place where self reigns. Blessings, mommapbs |
