Bible Question: How is the assurance in things hoped for, according to Hebrews 11:1, a support for enduring faith? |
Bible Answer: Hello grace, The Biblical definition of faith is given in Heb. 11:1 - "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." (NASB) I would recommend reading, re-reading and meditiating on the entire 11th chapter as it should answer your question. In other words, by reading Heb. 11, it should be self-evident as to "support for enduring faith". Additionally, 11:6 gives added support, "And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him."
