Bible Question: Could Moses have done bettter for his people by accepting his rightful inheritance, since the Pharoe's daughter was an only child, Moses would have become a great ruler, and by freeing his people from slavery and giving them a just wage, and it most likely would have been accomplished in less than 40 years? |
Bible Answer: Timothy Paul First how do you know Pharaoh had no sons? Moses was the the adopted son of his daughter but there is no indication in the Bible he was next in line for the throne. If Pharaoh of the Exodus was the same Pharoah that Moses fled from, we know that Pharaoh had a son because he was killed on the night of the passover. Could have Moses have done better? Yes I think he could of when we consider how his problems started, by killing another. However I believe God orders the steps of a righteous man so the things that took place in Moses life brought him exactly to the place God needed Moses to be to use him as God did. EdB |
