AMPLIFIED 2015 | Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality--faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. |
Bible Question (short): Believing in Faith |
Question (full): Hi, okay, I've been thinking abou this all day, and it's about Faith. I want to see if people can understand where I'm coming from, or correct me if I'm wrong. But as I'm understanding that faith is something that "YOU" believe in right? Not something your friend believes in that you want to believe, just because your friend does. Faith requires "YOUR" belief not anything else, is that correct? So that is why others can't save you, only you can be saved if you believe in Jesus Christ. Because everybody is a sinner and they cannot save you, no matter how much we might not want to hear that truth, but it's only through us and Jesus we can be saved with our belief. If someone could converse that with me in there own opinion and belief, and please don't post any like biblical passages, unless it has to do with faith and what it means. So I just kind of want your belief in this matter. Thanks for your time. Jason |
