Bible Question:
Hebrews10:26-31 I have a question that has been bugging me for a while. I've been off smoking, drugs and alcohol for a while now and I don't plan to go back to it. But in the past when I would go to my home town I would fall right back into it again. Now I avoid my old life like the plauge, but now I feel like I've gone to far. I know I willfully sinned and I am prepared to face God for what I have done to him. I was just wondering your opinions. Is it to late for me? |
Bible Answer: Dear Crystal, "willfully sinning" means one has no intention of stopping. You have been given some good scriptures and comments. Find yourself a christian mentor, preferably a woman family member or friend. Find a good bible believing church and participate with like minded believers who can help you grow and support you in being accountantable to Christ. Spend much time in prayer and bible study. Tell everyone you are not the person you used to be but have a new life in Christ. They may test you so turning them down will show them you mean business and it will be a testimony to your new life in Christ. Merry Christmas - Val |
