Bible Question (short): Do I have to go to worship/church? |
Question (full): Do I have to go to worship/church? I do believe and have been baptized, but I have alot of inner turmoil problems with most organized religions. I read my bible, pray, I help those who need help when I can (this I consider my offering). My problem with Organized religion is this, almost all wars have been fought in the name of religion or religious beliefs. The middle east is a complete mess because of this. The maze of organized religion in the US can make your head spin. I have basically chosen to study and pray on my own. Which religion/church/temple is the proper religion, and who do you believe. I know this is touched on in Book of John, and various other Books throughout the Bible, but these books were written when times where simpler and society was not as complicated as it is today. So in trying to get through the fog, I am sure I am creating more questions by even asking this question. Thank you for your considerations in advance. Rob |
