Subject: Is church membership required? |
Bible Note: Ken, That is a good question, and has got me thinking. These are my thoughts and I am not firm one way or the other so if someone has some scripture concerning this I would love to see it. Anyway, It seems to me that as God is our creator and he made us with the purpose of being his "Holy Temple" Saved or unsaved it seems that we will be that temple even as bad as some may abuse it. Then again I just ran across this verse Ephesians 2:19 Therefore you are no longer outsiders (exiles, migrants, and aliens, excluded from the rights of citizens), but you now share citizenship with the saints (God's own people, consecrated and set apart for Himself); and you belong to God's [own] household. So this seems pretty clear that when you enter into the kingdon THEN you become part of his household. Unless being his temple and being part of his household is different. ;) |
