Bible Question: I'm finding it difficult to make it to Wednesday night Bible study. I study the Bible every day though, usually later in the evenings after the children are put to bed, but I understand I'm missing out on the fellowship that takes place on Wednesday nights at church. I have two questions. Why do churches meet on Wednesday nights? Is it okay to skip Wednesday nights at church? |
Bible Answer: Dear Chynna, This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? (Gal 3:3,4). Chynna don't fall into the trap of legalism, which is an attempt to be made righteous by the works of the Law or by our own good works. Our only righteousnes is found in our being Christ's own chosen people. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. God Bless You, John |
