Bible Question: Hey im trying to encourage a friend that he should be going to church but he says that its you can't just limit God to sundays and that its not an important need in his life at the moment. But i know that he should be. Hebrews 10:25 says to not stop meeting together so I was hoping to get some feed back about how I could at least present the opinion that its soo good for him. |
Bible Answer: God's day to you, crazycatcm, and welcome to the SBF, The reason to go to church is because of fellowship ... the togatherness (not a typo). One cannot get it by watching church on TV or listening to Pastor Pillow on the radio. Also, think about those who risk imprisonment, harm or even death by meeting together. We also need to use or spiritual gifts, for the good of the body ... one should attend a church where they could make that happen. Searcher |
