Bible Question:
I understand Hebrews 10:17 and am very glad that God gives us believers a clean slate each day. But, what is going to happen when we (believers) stand before the throne at the time of judgement? What are we going to be judged on if God remembers our sins and lawless deeds no more? My wife and I were discussing this topic this morning and I was unable to provide her with good information because I did not understand. Can anyone provide some clarification on this? Thank you, Mike |
Bible Answer: Mike Believers will not stand before the judgement seat as seen in Revelation 20:11-15 that is unbelievers. The believers will have their works judged by Christ 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 (NKJV) 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
