Bible Question: i have had 2 dreams of late that are strange. i do not dream aney more. what are the value of dreams if you dont understand them or have some one to inturpit them? ladyz222 |
Bible Answer: While God may speak through a dream or a vision, that is not His normal way of communicating with us (see Hebrews 1:1). Most "dreams are not omens," according to Dr. Laura Schlessinger. "Dreams are itinerant chemical reactions." Hebrews 1:1-2 (ESV) [1] Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, [2] but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. Col. 2:18 (ESV) Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind, Col. 2:18 (TEV) Do not allow yourselves to be condemned by anyone who claims to be superior because of special visions and who insists on false humility . . . For no reason at all, such people are all puffed up by their human way of thinking. |
