Bible Question: Who wrote the bible, and how was scripture given |
Bible Answer: Hi! The Holy Scripture is God inspired... holy men of God were guided by the Holy Spirit as they made known God's revelations, admonitions, commandments, statutes, and prophecies: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:20-21) but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all nations might believe and obey him--to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen. (Romans 16:26-27) God Bless! Angel |
