Bible Note: Thanks Jeff, but I guess I have not really been clear. For one, yes I am very much grounded in the word. The question was actually for thoughts, and maybe experience. As far as the scripture you referenced, it does not apply, as this individual has expressed they feel that homosexuality, and drinking is ok. And I have actually spoken with some of those involved with him, and they basically have little to no respect for "salvation" and they feel basically church folk are simply hippocrates. As far as I am concerned when Jesus came into the presence of sinners, sick, etc., they left a different way, better than when he arrived, not he leaving in the condition, that they were in when he arrived. That said, if one will use this scripture to "justify" the behavior, then one should be changing lives, not having their life change. |
