Bible Question: Where are scriptures to support having to confront leadership or authority? I recall I believe there was a time when Peter had to confront authority... |
Bible Answer: Scripture ... Act 17:11, Gal 2:11-21, 1Ti 5:17-22 ... God's day to you, TTime, It depends on what the confrontration is about? It was Paul who confronted Peter (Gal 2:11-21). I do challange anyone when what they say doesn't line up with the Bible (Act 17:11). I do it in private, at first. 1 Timothy 5:17-22 is about a bigger issue. Two or three(witnesses) is usually about a death sentence or removal from the church (Deu 17:6, 19:15; Mat 18:16; 2Co 13:1; Heb 10:28). Searcher |
