Bible Question:
Hi, A Church member after having received services from the Pastor of the Church decided to give a gift/donation.Such gifts/donations should be directed to the Church or to the Pastor? Is it proper for a Pastor of a Church to accept gifts/donations given by a Church member ,for himself? Your comments will be much appreciared. FytRobert. |
Bible Answer: God's day to you, FytRobert, There are churches where the pastors are not part of the financial workings of the church. In that case, anything given to him would go to the church. He may even direct the pesron to a member of the financial committee, even if the gift was for him. We should be able to designate money to anyone. The chuch may have bylaws for certain situations.
