Bible Question: What are the requirements for a person to be able to teach the Word of God? such as lead a Bible study? |
Bible Answer: 1 tim 3:1-13 list the qualifications for Elder and Deacons. Both offices require a high moral standard. But a Elder or one who will teach needs to be able to teach. To teach one has to spend many hours in preparation. That person must also be a hungry learner also. Because in teaching you usually learn more than you teach. |
