Bible Question:
How can I relate to co-workers that are constantly cursing God's name and breaking His laws? I have some authority in my position, but when you preach "foolishness to the unspiritual" (1Cor. 2:14), They will lose all respect for your authority. This is a Christian based construction company, so please send as many ideas as possible, I'm able to do things that would be frowned upon in other workplaces. I'm even thinking of printing Bible passages to post near the time clock. Any verse suggestions? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Timothy Paul, First, and foremost, above all, I would pray. Pray that God would put the words in your mouth to say to them. I would also pray that God would touch their hearts with such an impact that they would be convicted to watch the words that come out of their mouths. If I was in that position, and I have been, I would tell them in a way that they can see Christ's love through you that when they use God's name in vain that it is very offensive to you because they are speaking about someone you love very much (or words to that effect). Then ask them if they would please not use those words while you are around. And remember at all times to let them see the light of God shining forth in your life so that they will want what you have. prayon |
