Bible Question:
Using 2 Thess 2:7-11 as a reference, does this passage support the belief that those who had previously heard the Truth of the Gospel and rejected it, will be blinded or precluded from accepting it after the Rapture of the Church? It has been suggested that only those "left behind" who never heard the Truth of the Gospel will have an opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior from sin. What do you think? Please include Scripture references in your answer! |
Bible Answer: mommapbs: I agree that 2 Thess. 2: 7-11 shows that there is no second chance after the rapture for those who have disobeyed the gospel of Christ during this day of grace. According to Rev. 7: 4-8 we find a remanent out of Israel saved and addition to this "a great multitude, which no man can number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people and tongues, stood before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes and palms in their hands" Rev. 7:9. Who are these people? In Rev. 7:14 ..."These are they which came out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. It would appear that after the rapture, when God turns again to Israel as a nation, that not only will a remanent of Israel be saved, but the branches of God's blessing will go over the wall to include Gentiles who have never had the opportunity to hear the gospel before.
