Bible Question: if God has told me through prophetic that i think my plans have been crushed(which i did at the time and no one knew but when i got that word from a stranger in church telling me that i knew it was God speaking to me) but when i let go he will build my plans putting roses and flowers with it, is God telling me that i must forget about the plan i had for myself that he has a better plan for me? or is he telling me that i must leave things in his hands and he will make sure it comes together for me in his way, that i must not try make it happen? Please i need clarification. |
Bible Answer: Hi smurfrenee, 1 Thess. 5:1 directs us, "But examine( prove) everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good;" My first question is: How do you know it was God speaking to you? My second question is: Have you diligently sought God through prayer in this matter? Without trying to come across harsh, it sounds more like mysticism than God "speaking to you". I didn't notice any references to scripture! Do you believe God can and does speak to His children through the Word? Heb 4:12- "For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
