AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain [on the earth] will simultaneously be caught up (raptured) together with them [the resurrected ones] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord! Subject: Rapture different from Second Coming? |
Bible Note: Mathew: No not exactlly. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and Truth, John recorded this. When we die Paul tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. There are aspects of death and what demension we will be in that is something that this side of death I can't comprehend. I take this part on faith, and Hebrews says after comes judgenment. There will be a fimal white thrown judgement and there is when those lost will be sent to hell. Never does it say Christians will face a second death. We do die physically, and are saved from the eternal hell. I might suggest you get hank Hanegraaff' book RESURRECTION. This is quite specfic and solid Biblical material that does a very percise way of explaing much better than I am able. I hope this helps. Any thouhts? justme |
