Bible Question:
hey kids. so a few months ago my pastor read a verse of the bible in church. it really felt like a smack in the face from god. it made me realize a lot of things that i'd been doing wrong lately. since then i've forgotten where in the bible it is. and it's driving me crazy!! i've tried so hard to find it again but it's nowhere. i really could have sworn it was in first or second corinthians, but i can't find it. maybe i'm overlooking it somehow. could you guys help me find it? this verse means so much to me because it kind of signaled this huge change in my life that i went through when i rededicated myself to christ. i have to find it. it would mean so much to me. i don't remember it exactly, but it goes something like... "do not be fooled. bad friends will ruin good habits... come back to your right way of thinking and stop sinning... i say this because some of you do not know god..." something to that effect. thanks a lot for the help, kids!! in christ, carmela |
Bible Answer: Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. 1 Corinthians 15:33,34. |
