Subject: What needs to be reconciled in heaven? |
Bible Note: I believe I understood your question, I just did't make my answer clear. Something I am famous for. What was reconciled in heaven is the seperation between God and man caused by the fall. (Rom 8:20-22 NASB) For the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. (2 Cor 5:18-20 NASB) Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were entreating through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. We are now reconciled with God. This does not mean everyone will be saved, just that the bridge has been established between God and man. |
