Bible Question (short): Believers and "Alternative" Spirituality |
Question (full): My wife, who is a believer, has been looking into subjects that contain ungodly spiritual practices. She seems to believe that some of these practices are okay. For example, she began identifying with Native American culture and came home burning sage incense in the house to "cleanse from evil spirits". When I said that prayer does that, she didn't seem to want to listen. I went on to say that looking to means other than Christ was occultic. She ignored me. I've been praying, but my wife continues to look into other things. I am on the path to finding a Christian marriage counselor, but wanted to get some other insight. Into the matter. What do we do when believers (especially ones we are married to) begin going down such dark paths? Thanks. |
