Bible Question: Goodmorning, I have question. On friday night service I was given a assignment:to write down my bigest fear and confront that fear; because the devil works out the root of my fear. Is it through confessing the word of GOD that I can overcome my fears? |
Bible Answer: Fear, at its roots, is a lack of belief in God's promise, power, perception, and/or goodness. (Sorry, ran out of P words.) In essence, then, fear grows out of belief in a lie rather than belief in the truth. Therefore, fear is eliminated when the lie is eliminated and you believe the truth. Everything necessary to that end can be found in the single authorative, inerrent, and all sufficent revelation of God, His Word. |
