Bible Question:
How do you explain non-believers the Mystery of Trinity?? For example: The Bible says God is all knowing and Jesus is also God, but yet for the second coming of Jesus, not even Jesus the son knows when it is, only the Father knows. So, how do we explain the mystery of Trinity or should we simply say this is mystery ? |
Bible Answer: Hi, Calm... There are many things that require regeneration to be understood. There are also many things that we know to be true, but that are, simultaneously, impossible to fully grasp. Certainly the nature of the Triune God is one of them! On the other hand, we are obligated to explain as clearly as possible what the Bible says. In my opinion, Athanasius does the best job of explaining what the Scripture means on this topic. I'd start there. In Him, Doc |
