Bible Note: Hi BradK, John 1:1, "...and the **Word was *God." Psalm 90:2, "...Even from everlasting to everlasting, **Thou art *God." Philippians 2:8, "...**He humbled *Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross." I would not infer that Philippians 2:8 shows that Christ ceased to be God. The important thing to see in Philippians 2:8 is that He was found to be in appearance as a (Man); in the likeness of men as a bond-servant, yet still always a Man in the image of God.
