Subject: Is "Once Saved Always Saved" scriptural |
Bible Note: The CurtMan You said, "Personally speaking, I believe that once a person is saved, that person is ALWAYS saved. I believe this because of Romans 8:1, “There is therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”" However you left the most important part, Romans 8:1b "who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." This last part of the sentence is left out of some translations but I think it carries very significant meaning. If you believe in Christ Jesus you won’t be walking according to the flesh. Which is another way of saying you won’t be walking in sin. In other words salvation is not justification for continued sinning it is way to walk after the Spirit. EdB |
