Bible Question: What do you think about this verse, what does it mean to you? |
Bible Answer: I believe that God's whole purpose is for us to be conform to the image of His dear son. So once you accept Him as your personal Savior the work begins...Mending, molding, scolding, reshaping, reconforming, chastising, the works. Whatever God has to do to get you to the imgae of His son He will do. It also means full circle not just a spiritual conforming but a natural. What you desire to be and do on the earth He will aid you in it until completion. Jer 29:11 'For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Rom 8:29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; |
