Bible Question: suicide |
Bible Answer: Hi Idardeen, In Job 3:1-3 Job cursed the day he was born. He was covered with Boils and wanted to die. His wife kept telling him to just curse God and die, but Job did not. In the end, he was blessed. He was given double of what he had lost and really blessed because he pressed through. God loves all people on this earth and he has a plan an purpose for everyone. We are not to look at our circumstances, but look to God. And he will keep us strong until he ready to take us home. Job 3:1-3 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day. And Job spake, and said, Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived. 3:4 Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it. 2 peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Isaiah 26:3,4 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength Acts 16:27, 28 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. |
