Bible Question: Why was God so harsh with judgment in Old Testament times? |
Bible Answer: God's day to you, JKCOOK, and welcome to the SBF, God promised blessings for obedience (Deu 28:1-14) and cursings for disobedience (vv 15-68). Since they disobeyed God was doing as He promised. I am teaching on Amos. In Amos 4:6-11, it is interesting to see how it compares to part of Solomon'a prayer (1Ki 8:33-37) and what God promised (Deu 28:18-61, Lev 26:17-69).
